Nice write up. I completely agree with you, no point having a sports car if your not going to have it running as they should, money well spent in my eyes and lots of fun in the sun this weekend. Enjoy. Let's hope I get mine back tomorrow

Good work so far, keep it up thumbup

I keep meaning to write up a blog on here about my 450 and what it is costing to run and put things right etc. So far year 1 cost for MOT, 12K service and new Gaz golds all round was £1400 and year 2 for MOT, 6K service and a new dashboard was £1000. All money well spent and more to do next year biggrin

Thanks chaps - new post up from the weekend. Why taking two cars everywhere is absolutely acceptable when you have a TVR and sunshine.

I love this blog as I followed the same path. I got my Chim just after my 2nd child arrived and understand where you are coming from. My eldest (5) loves going out in Daddy's Grumble Grumble car and I hope she'll have good memories that will stay with her for ever.

Thanks for the comment. Did you manage to get a car seat in the Chim? Haven't tried yet but looks straightforward.

The only child seat I've had in the car is this. I couldn't get the 0-4yr car seat used in the daily driver to fit correctly, so only my eldest can go in the Chim at the moment. Does cause a problem as my youngest (nearly 3) is NOT happy about that, as she is turning out to be a little petrol head (Big Sally Carrera fan!), so every time me and the eldest are off for a drive my wife is left with a toddler having a screaming tantrum!!
