Must say I'm enjoying this forum. Great combo of comradery, newbie support and open sharing of information and experience. Also, seems to have a high percentage of do-it-yerselfers like me who find that owning a Noble is as much fun working on as driving (except poor Tux lately
, but his luck will change soon). Noble’s a very fine design, but most components don’t require a rocket scientist to maintain/modify/improve. Mine was up on stands almost as much as on the ground during the first two years, and loved it. More on-stands time this year when it gets back to the track after a 1-year break. Interesting, the direct correlation between track time and shop time. Also must admit that the UK blood in me (some Welch, Cornish, and who knows what else) is enjoying getting reconnected. My wife and I Greatly enjoyed watching Doc Martin for the gorgeous scenery, intelligent humor, and wonderful acting. William and Mary was also fun. Nice breaks from Hollywood. Too bad Clunes isn’t a Noble owner on this forum -- or is he? Do you chaps watch Portlandia on IFC? We’re not all that wacky in Portland

Nice not to have to keep a list. Unfortunately have also discovered how easy it is to accidentally trip out of the reply window with a finger stumble (or simply going to Formatting Help). Happened three times this morning, argh. My composed text was gone each time that I used the back key to return to the reply window.
Drafting replies in MS Word is an option, but special characters don’t translate well when cutting and pasting into PistonHeads. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Sorry to sidetrack this thread, but wanted to express my appreciation.

Good suggestion Blu3R. Thanks for your reply.I just tested it and both of these features pop up in separate windows when I intentionally click their buttons. My clumsy fingures were doing something else this morning; not sure what. Having trouble duplicating my earlier problems. There might be a hot-key combo that trigger formatting help to come up in the same window, wiping out composed text by the time I back up.
Might be that using Internet Explorer isn't such a good idea. My programmer son keeps trying to get me to switch to Firefox. Gassing Station | Noble | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
