Not specifically referring to this section, but I seem to be reading a whole lot of negativity on PH recently about what people think isn't right. That has it's place of course, but I thought I'd share my favourable experiences concerning one dealership which I feel provides a good service at a reasonable price. Mercedes Sunderland had my SLK in today for an MOT (it only needs servicing on alternate years). 2 weeks ago they phoned me to remind me my MOT was almost due and they phoned again yesterday to remind me to bring my driving licence in as I'd requested a loan car. My car was dropped off and they kindly gave me this new C class sport to play with for the day:

3 hours later my car was ready for collection. MOT passed and car returned to me cleaned inside and out. They tell me they've enrolled me into a new system they have whereby if my car now fails any subsequent MOT for just about anything (except advisories) they'll cover the cost up to £500 so long as I keep the service history up to date. Seems quite reasonable. Oh yes, the price for all this: £55.
BTW, I'm just a customer, I have no other connection with this dealership.

Quite a lot of MB dealers could learn from this.
