Fault Code DF047 Renault
Discussion
"DF047 boost pressure active sensor. Coherence between the boost pressure and the atmospheric pressure."
After having quite a bit of work done to the top half of the engine, my van managed 500 miles and clonked out (J4 M4 on Thursday if you saw the jam!).
We knew there was a boost pressure sensor issue and a new one was on back order. But a day before she went back in to have it fitted
The new part has been now been fitted. The breakdown was attributed to air which they suspect, may have been sucking in from the fuel filter housing. This was looked at a new seals have been put on.
Now, she starts, but will not run.
Computer reads one fault code.
(Van is a Renault 1.9 DCi with Nissan badges on it).

Aside from the obvious, 'pipe off somewhere' and 'air' comments, a couple of suggestions point towards the map sensor.
I don't understand these things, but before this EGR valve/boost pressure sensor (which needed renewing) was renewed, the van was running. Now that we've got new parts, she won't run because the map sensor needs replacing?
