The Ultimate Ignominy

Out for a couple of beers tonight down the local.
Just getting up to leave when I was approached by one of the locals.
"What was that blue thing I saw you in last weekend?"
I took great pride in informing him it was a TVR Cerbera.
He then went on to tell me his initial thoughts when he was walking up the road and heard the noise were
"Someones got the lawnmower out cutting the grass" !!!
At that point I felt a little disheartened.
Then my wife informed him that it was indeed a "very fast" lawnmower.

Yes, I would imagine that must have hurt
I suppose I should have added the guy was in his late 60's/early 70's and was wearing a hearing aid in each ear.
