Starting after fuel leak

Had a fuel leak recently which was either a hose clip or a valve of some kind. The valve is kind of off white plastic with a metal insert about 5cm in size and located under the boot base. I replaced the clip and now car won't start. Turns over once. Should I bump start it and also anyone know what this valve is?

Never replied to my own topic. Bump started and it appears to be good. Still interested in what this return valve does.

Sounds like the fuel tank breather....
