Can't work out why I'm so down tonight. Just agreed the sale of my Cerb thinking it was the right thing to do but something is eating at my insides telling me I shouldn't do it.

Bought the car earlier this year with the sole intention of the run to Le Mans - as I have done for the last few years with various sorts of 'fun' motors - but never felt like this letting go of a car.

What is it about the Cerb - there must be something special as I have spent an arm and a leg over the last few months to get the car sorted.

Weird!!

S.

PS - PH Cerb forum and TCR = top sites for hints, tips and advice - keep up the good work Ted and Graham.

PPS - thanks all you other Cerb idiots for the guidance.

Sorry to hear you are leaving the fold! Are you sure that sale is 'agreed'? You could always back out

Hi Seth

While I know you've had some problems I was sorry to see you were selling and
hoped it would pass.

We all know there are good and, well, not so good Cerbs, but it's a shame when people
leave so quickly after being so enthusiastic.

Thanks also for your kind words about my site.

Best of luck and keep in touch.

Nothing Peninsula couldn't sort - so I have to admit it mine is a good 'un and thats why I am feeling the twangs of guilt.

I have a half share in a 993 for road use and an elise to get me back on the track after a few years of absence so I shouldn't rally be too upset.

Its just that Cerb magic that makes me think I might regret selling. You guys know what I mean!!

Sorry, didn't mean to imply you had a bad car, just sorry to see you leave so soon.

I've been an RO for nearly three years now....and it seems to me that once TVR is in your blood...it stays there......especially with Cerbs......

Nothing, however exotic, seems to come close......

I've seen so many Mid Essex peeps sell for another marque, but very rarely have I removed them from the mail list because after 6 months or so ....they are back, sometimes bemoaning the fact that they sold a pucker car.

Thing is...if your Cerb is sorted you are letting a good car go.......

Typical case is one of my ex Cerb guys, during a funny five minutes, sold his Cerb for a Ferrari. Beautiful car, reckons it's the mutt's nuts as it were........
However.....he has still gone a put a deposit on a Typhon!!!!

Just a thought!!

In best deep Arnie voice..
"You'll be back"

Wonder if you can beat J S G's 24 hour record?

It was 19 hours to the minute.

Should have the beast back with the engine it was always supposed to have had within a week or so now. Think the legal issues surrounding it are going to drag on for a some time to come, though. It's been a looooooong 4 months...
