Speedo Dead

I've just replaced the speed sensor on the rear axle for a used one from Bell Hill, still no speedo. What else can I check? And how can I confirm the sensor itself is OK? Thanks.

Did you gap it correctly paul?

Check cables near the connection point nr top of diff

Slightly less than a cigarette paper...

Checked for damage to the cable near the diff, found nothing untoward.

Turn drive shaft and check gap at about 6-7 places on toothed wheel,there may be play in the diff.....expect knowing you youve done this but worth a try.
