The next southern wedge meet

A few of us were dicsussing when and where to have the next southern meet at the BBWF. We could make it at the next TVRCC Herts meet which will be Sunday lunchtime on 8th August at The Three horseshoes pub in Harpenden.

Its not a very well attended meeting, but its a nice location and an injection of wedges might generate some interest from other local members and get this meeting going strong again.

Any alternative suggestions are more than welcome, but i need to hear a "wail" of wedges again soon.

Strangely enough David, I seem to remember talking to you about this at BBWF as well. Definately should have another meet up soon.

Pauline (the Mid-Essex RO) was talking to me at last month's meet and said that she would love to have the wedges back at Mid-Essex again. She also said that if we all come down to the meet, she would give us the top spot on the Forrester's drive!

With this in mind, how about seeing how many wedger's we can get together at Mid-Essex for either the August or September meet? What do you and everyone else think of this idea? Please post here and let me know. Thanks.

As my car is almost on the road now - just need to put the bonnet back on and test drive it - I should be at both the August and September Mid Essex meets and would love to be there with some more Wedges. Hopefully see you there!

Hi Mid Essex meet is always the second Sunday in the month - all year round - so look forward to seeing you there

Hi Steve. The Mid-Essex meet is on the second Sunday of the month. So August's meet will be on the 8th of August and September's meet will be on the 12th of September. I hope that help's.

I think Aug 8th is the TVR meet at Widsor Polo ground. If we all turn up we can frighten the horses.

Revivals normally a laugh.. will need to check diary for the other meets. If available will definitely be up for them..

Mid Beds Meet is 3rd Sunday of the month at The Red Lion Lodge, Deadman's Cross, on the A600 between Shefford and Bedford. We struggle to get more than 2 Wedges at a time. We need more Wedgeification! Please help!
