Rubbish, sorry mate. Hopefully not too extensive, and you'll be back on the road soon.

Simon, was gutted for you. After all the hard work and expense and then for that to happen....
It wasn't even being pushed at the time.
Fingers crossed it turns out to be something simple (and cheap) to fix.

Gadge , low boost run , no more than 10psi , just about to start lifted revs to 2000 rpm when it just went , thankfully Steve from T&R heard it quick and shut down .
, she is back Home in the garage , not sure what I'm going to do the thought of taking the engine out again just does my head in :-(((

Damn...headache...that is seriously bad luck m8...i think the thing that makes it worse is it was so anticipated and was supposed to be a good day..gutted for you..but all u can do is bite the bullet and get stuck in to sorting it...dont be outfaced by the thought of it..

Oh man, Tux, you deserve much better luck than that. As others have said, I've been in a similar situation and remember feeling devastated. But I'm sure time will heal the wound and you'll use the situation to make some part of the car even better than it is now.

have you got an engine hoist ?

i can come over to give you a hand - alternatively i can bring along a man who can take the engine out in no time if you wanted it done really quick

do you know if it lost oil prssure before it spun the bearing (probably did)

might be worth sticking some slick 50 or tx1 in it next time - supposedly will save the engine if you loose the oil

Tux:

Sorry to hear your news. frown & confused

Hope it turns out to be an easy fix for you.

Did this happen during tuning? On dyno or on the road?

Simon that's awful news & takes some getting your head around considering all the care & attention you have put in. Time out then re-group mate.
