Nice in deed. Definitely show quality, and a great addition to your Noble, Grant.

It's got nibus shielding under it. And I wish it was mine. And it's a one off his done himself. Took him days to make it. But looks the part

Used the Nimbus shielding under my standard (well, modded for Pro Alloy) intercooler box, and reflective fibreglass mat on the outside. Very effective. Carbon one looks good though!

Very nice.... even better with a few more carbon bits under there to pick it up..

I heatshield by putting a jacket the turbo, wrapping the manifold.
Then on the box it only needs a 1/2" thk layer of heat insulation matting with heat reflective alloy cloth to the underside, it can get a little bit hot under that IC box, how good is CF for withstanding heat? does it discolour?

The fibre won't be affected, but not all resins are good with heat.

Tonyvan: Beautiful work!! clap Not hard at all to tell that it took you days. Very precise.

Which Nimbus do you use? Pulled up thier website today. Looks like good stuff. Think I'll look into it further.

My air box has the original <1/8" shield mat glued to the underside, and turbo/down tube both have 1/2" ceramic wool and aluminum insulation that I purchased 2 years ago from Heatshield Products. The wool had a few consistency issues, but it holds up very well to the exhaust heat; unfortunately they no longer have in their online catalog. My air box floor gets hot, but never too hot to touch, so probably not hot enough to bake your beautiful carbon fibre. smile

I think Tux does the throttle cable bracket in his CF selection...
