This is just by eye but, if I park the Tuscan in the same place in the garage that the Griff was (no margin for error, garage full of stuff dictates position) then the door looks to have exactly the same amount of clearance to the bike parked next to it.

Y u ask..........

If they are the same then you get can get side impact bars in them, although not sure how well they woul dwork as nothing either side of the door apature at that height. This is my main thought as would like that little extra security there. Also you would get the newer Corrodo mirrors with out having to chop my doors about(i like these mirrors) but the impact bars was my main thought.

I know that the chassis is damn strong and would protect from the side pretty well, But something a bit higher may be nice.

The side impact bars in the Tuscan door run from the hinges to the door lock. The hinges bolt (via brackets) onto the windscreen rollover hoop.
I don't know how you would incorporate this into a Griff as the hinges just bolt onto the grp shell.
If you're on about putting a complete Tuscan door onto a Griff I don't reckon you could make it work. I've just had another look & the front a different shape & the bottom doesn't look like it curves underneath the sill as per a Griff. Back edge & latch *might* be the same.

You could always swap the Griff for a Tuscan & then think (& forget) about bolting on a Griff door!

In all seriousness - this issue & rollover protection is what made me want to swap.
