Hi,

As search is still down, does anyone know the standard supplied spring rates for track.

Has anyone used them on road and if so are they too hard, and we're helper springs used?

Cheers

Factory standard springs on the Intrax shocks are: Rear-110 N/mm (628 1b/in), Front-80 N/mm (456 1b/in)
The factory optional track springs are: Rear-140 N/mm (800 lb/in) and Front-100N/mm (570 lb/in)
I was having problems with the front splitter dragging on hard track cornering, and I replaced the stock front springs with some 600 lb/in rated springs. This cured the problem of dragging the front around corners.
I also drive the car on the street, and am quite happy with the ride. Definitely not too stiff.

I have the factory track springs as well and they are fairly soft. Have aftermarket springs and shocks on an Exige and they are easily 3 times stiffer.

Are they still too soft for track, or a good compromise?

Thanks

I still have the factory springs in my GTR, since 2002, I find them good for track days. I increase the Intrax shock damping by 10-15 clicks, per Ted's recommendation. Most track days I use street tires. I have put stickies on it for a few. BTW I have the std suspension, no sway bars.
