We found the best deal for our mini one was through BMW's own MINI Insurance

I'm with AXA, you could also try Tesco and MINI or even BMW insurance.

I'm insured with Elephant.co.uk and i've only got 3 years ncb and she's parked on the road and i pay £720 which is a lot cheaper than anyone else. MINI and Tesco were £1200.

Its a BMW Do buy it (as opposed to a Rover, 40yrs and they never did quite get the hang of making them )

Don't understand your post and what problems on the net, I agree it is not a mini that was designed in the 60's but what car that was designed in the 60's and has not evolved is still being manufactured, even Morgan have now bought out the ugly aero, all cars evolve as does everything

Try Adrian Flux and join a mini club. Their NIG scheme always worked out cheapest for me over several years of ownership.

Had no problems with ours, just ordered a cooper S convertable. BTW it is the wifes car and she loves the orginal mini but wanted a new car that would not be a pile of rust inside 3 years
