floodlight cover needed

Hello guys,

my problem is that every time after I wash my car the floodlight covers get foggy. Maybe because there are few small flaws in the floodlights.
Does somebody know where I can get the shells from?

Hi tschechone. Hmmm. Moisture behind the lenses. This thread from last year might be what you're looking for. Pinnacle had good results by adding breather tubes.

I haven't tried it, but suspect that with two breather tubes you could run a little low pressure dry air through yours to get the moisture out as well.

Nice job. Hope this solves your problem.

Pinnacle (Wes) recently posed again on NobleForums re. this topic. Said his replacement lenses have not recracked since he installed vents in 2007 (I think). Pretty sure the fogging problem also was solved.

Please let us know how this turns out for you. May take a couple of hot days for moisture to escape your lights.

Haven't done this mod myself. It's on my To Do list, but I rarely drive in in the rain, and haven't experienced any fogging to date.

This is exactly the remedy...i had this issue for some time with mnisting covers..i thought it was water getting in so i tried harder and harder to seal them, but the problem only got worse..that when i realised it was the sealing them so good that was the problem, moisture trapped inside.. so when i let them breathe a little the problem was sorted.
