I seem to be getting a new issue with my car. When I turn in I get a small amount of passive rear steer as the car's suspension compresses, this is much worse should I hit a bump.

Has anyone else had this issue?

I will be getting the geometry checked however I do have a concern it will turn out to be something more annoying like suspension bushings something similar!

Sounds very much like bottom wishbone bushes. The spring/damper is mounted at the front of the lower wishbone, it's also inclined so imparts an increasing toe-out lateral load component on the lower wishbone as the suspension compresses.

I seem to get a double turn in after the car settles, I know the geometry is out due to odd tyre wear so it could be some odd bump steer. I'm getting a full geometry re-alignment on Wednesday hopefully this should sort the car out if it doesn't then I'm going to start looking at bushes and shocks.

Before you do anything else please tell us what your tyre pressures are.

The correct answer should be 24-25 PSI cold.

What should they be hot?
Are the figures above specifically for any particular brand?
I run Conti Sports on mine.

Personally, on a race car I can tell 3-4psi difference in tyre pressures, but I have no idea what my road car should be set at!
Guidance much appreciated.

Does that not depend on the tyre make? ie Toyo888 stiffer side wall = Lower pressure
Conditions etc

Of course. But the majority of T cars wear normal road rubber so I made an assumption.

I'm pretty hamfisted and I can tell the difference between 24psi and 26psi in my T350 on the first bend I come to, and that was when I had std suspension. 28-30psi feels like driving on ball bearings.

I'll let the more track hardened owners give any more detailed advice.

+1

24psi works for me on my T350. The tyre company that fitted mine had put 32-34psi. I thought someone had turned my gaz pro golds up a few clicks.
