bit of advice needed re machine polishing please
Discussion
Obsidian Black metallic, Mercedes. Car is 1 year old, 11k miles. Recently bought (3 weeks ago) from dealership and prior to picking it up it was machine polished by an outside valeter that the garage uses, to try and remove some of the swirls and light scratches.
The body looks fabulous, apart from in really direct strong sunlight - here you can see the circular marks from the machine. In overcast conditions the paint looks superb.
I could do with some professional advice here please guys. Me thinks it needs doing again, by someone who knows his onions.
Cheers

Check the Paintcode, if its got a "C" infront of it means its a ceramic clearcoat.
Just had a look on internet and Obsidian Black is paintcode 197. Doesn't say anything about a "C". What you thinking?

You need to check the paint code on your car, it'll be on a black sticker either in the door shut or under the bonnet that also shows the year of manufacture.

I think what 7even is hinting at is that a ceramic clear coat may need treating differently to a standard clear coat
