Such a great sunny day here so after washing the BM i decided to try and take some better pics in a nice location, as normally i just have pics on the drive that doesn't do any car justice!

A couple more added.

Those wheels are horrible, some nice m sport wheels of the right size might be better

and the M sport badge is indeed questionable

Hmm whilst i obviously respect other PHers views when posting pics, it was a comment i expected tbh. It is marked up(from new) with 'M' accessories, kick plates, steering wheel, gearknob etc and certainly not trying to imply it's an 'M5' (I have previously owned one). The badge will stay for now smile, thanks for the comments good and not so good, it's nice to view your own car through others eyes and comments.

confused

The only things that make a Sport look like an M5 are the wheels, badges, lower grille, mirrors and exhaust.

This car has none of the above from an M5?

I'd never do an M5 rep! I used to own the real deal lol.

Is the M5 a million miles away from the 535i or just a couple of hundred thousand?

The M5 is another level, 400bhp with LSD. The 535 is still a very nice car in its own right.

Thanks, Finding my 540i Auto a bit boring now but having invested so much on E39 stuff I'm loathed to get rid of it. Half tempted to sort the suspension and maybe convert it to manual but there's not much point in this either laugh

Very nice, whilst i'm not a fan of black wheels on a black car it is very tidy... Makes me want to change the wheels on mine.
