S Type R

Ok chaps, I'm looking a little later in the year to move into an S Type R. I have fancied one for a while and will look to get rid of the Impreza when I get back off holiday.
I have read up on the servicing schedule and the prices seem reasonable from the indy places. Looking at an 04/05 plate, any and all experiences good and bad please, I want to go in with all eyes open!!

There are very similar threads on here recently.

We have an 07 19k miles when we got it
had it a year now, best car we have owned,
exhaust mod is recommended so you can hear the V8
I recommend turn the fuel computer to off
and just enjoy the 400BHP.

Thanks for the links and the info, reading with interest. Fancy some luxury after a bargain basement interior in the impreza. Performance and economy (!) about the same too!
