If I am designated driver weeping then my drink of choice is lemon, lime & soda with a dash of bitters. Refreshing and it doesn't gas you up like coke drink. Its 50% alcohol but you dont drink the whole bottle vomit....

Really?!! (just checked, it's not yet 1st April so hoping you're not winding me up) Sounds like it could work, but is it not a little overpowering mint wise?

I promise I am not winding you up.

I like a lot of mint in my mojito, but you could start by substituting half the sugar / gomme syrup with a glacier mint, and taking it from there.

Chap used to come into the pub I worked in every day - and I mean every day - and would order a slimline tonic with 2 - not 1 or 3 but 2 - drops of Angostura. He'd then drink it and order another in a kind of "just one more, I really shouldn't but I will" kid of way. Odd.
