Fun in the Sun

Anyone else get out lots at the weekend?

I came across a Corvette Saturday late pm on local dual carriageway. He didn't want to play however, and probably a good job as from checking out later it was a Z06 which is at least a match in a straight line with the 4.5 Cerbera, maybe even a slight edge. So now I want to make sure next time I see him & he wants to play, that he will get a whooping.....short induction, remap....hmmm....what else can I do for modest cost & decent power gains? Haha!!

I did see the sun from the inside of the garage and from the under side of a Cerb

I managed to go for a run out on Saturday night after work. The sun had gone in but it didn't ruin the fun. The way these things reach silly speeds is just mind-boggling.

Was too nice a weekend for the Cerb, so took the Chimaera out for a pootle in the sun. Ahh the joy!

Came across a new F10 M5 on Friday on my way home from work, can't believe how muted it sounded especially compared to the V10 E60 M5.. didn't really get a chance to play with it though (probably a good thing too as I later found the secondary cooling fan wasn't coming on)!

Nice to get out in the sun with cool charge temps too

Yeah, fun in the Cerb on both Sat & Sun with a run out with the local Wilts lot on Sun.

Mines Green with bits flaking off so I,am gonna take it to the doctors and get it seen too.

Not drove it since last October and picking her up from APM Friday after some major work, then I,am gonns scare myself on the way home

We had the Tam out on friday, a brief play in the Cerb saturday to check the new brakes work

Briefly got the purple monster out yesterday for a blast , it is amazing how much faster than other people that you end up going My youngest is the only one in his class that knows the secret Power of the TVR as his other friends don't know what it means ( mind you he is only 5). Looking forward to the Essex meet next Sunday, let's hope it's sunny again.

You lucky bugger, mine's in a basement garage. The nearest I got to the sun were the 2 x 500 W lamps that illumniate my (lack of) progress

I had some fun on Monday at Bedford (after scraping through the noise limit despite the standard exhaust system but with decats), first time I had driven here since my crank failed in July last year.

Only thing is the crank fail has also knackered the gearbox, started off being a bit whiny, ended with a bang and no gears. Ah well....
