Battery for 4.3 Tuscan?

I bought a new battery for the Tuscan in readiness for the 4.3, however I just can't get it to fit the battery tray,despite it being 278mm long which appears to be the original size?

Will something a little smaller be ok? Looking at one of these: Clicky
Which has a CCA of 610A. Will this be ok for a 4.3, or does the longer stroke mean it'll need a bit more juice?

If so, then any recommendations for a decent "normal" battery that'll fit? I don't really want to spend loads and loads on a gel battery. The car is kept on an accumate most of the time if that makes a difference.

Oh, and need to get it sorted tomorrow, Grrr!! Oh, and on this occasion don't slate the Halfords, a trade card made it a decent price!
