The Ever Present Which Car Thread.
Discussion
First post. W00t etc.
I hate to add another of these threads, but I'm not really sure where else to ask such a question and get a sensi.. an answer.
I am seeking a saloon in the 2.3-3.5 litre range, petrol only (no dirty diesel for me) with aggressive styling a la Dodge Charger/Avenger. I'd prefer something already on the sporty side so I don't have to mess with the suspension to make it go around corners without feeling like a boat (thus I'm NOT after an Avenger). BMWs, Audis and Mercs are generally out as they're a bit too sleek and salesmany for my tastes.
Budget is in the 6-9k range and I'd rather not have a car with over 100k on the clock, at least not at that price.
I may end up waiting a bit until the used Jag XFs come down in price a bit more, the diesel ones are cheap as chips, but the big petrol ones are still pricey.

I was considering the MGZS 180 as a contender, I'll admit that I forgot all about the ZT.
I don't mind the styling of the M3 and its brethren, but the normal variant German cars are normally quite understated, which isn't really what I'm looking at in a car. I'd take American stylings any day of the week, but I don't want a LHD as they're a liability in the UK.
