How do you know they were "panic" buying? How is what you were trying to do any different?
Ah yes, a standard "new PH" have-a-pop-first, ask-questions-later response. The OP *may* of course have simply been trying to replenish an empty tank. But of course there's less keyboard warriorism in that position.

Remove that chip off your shoulder. If you could read properly you will notice I ONLY asked questions.Edited by Dracoro on Tuesday 27th March 12:30

I've explained twice. I'm sorry but I really fail to see why you feel the need to have a go?All three stations are in villages, not on main roads. They're the only three near us. In the 7 years I have been driving I have never known any run out of fuel - both petrol and diesel - completely. I was informed by the attendants that they have been queueing out onto the road for the past day.
I think that pretty much constitutes panic buying.
OP - I'm not having a go, I was simply asking why you were wanting fuel and how your reason for wanting fuel is any different to anyone else.
Of course, we all know panic buying happens when the news mentions strikes (even though they said the strikes will be next month, not this).
So, of those queuing up, how many were nearing empty and how many didn't "need" to fill up?
Anyway, why only put £10 in? We know there's strikes possibly on the horizon so best fill up to the top and you shouldn't run out again until after it's all over. Why only put in £10, it just means making 5/10 times as many trips as necessary leaving yourself open to running out a the worst possible time and as you make so many trips, also adding to forecourt congestion....
No garages round here have run out, villages are fine so maybe just a couple where you are. Are ALL garages in your area empty?
Sorry that I may come across curt, that's just the internet and written word for you.

If you still feel the need to try and start a fight, at least post a comment which makes sense!
YOU clearly said "have-a-pop-first, ask-questions-later response"You can CLEARLY see that I asked questions first. Go on, have a look at my very first post, there are two questions.
You do appear to have a chip on your should with regards "keyboard warriors" otherwise why make up that I had a pop and not asking questions...
Anyway, regardless of what people are doing, this is all the fault of the unions/strikers.
