Hi all,

Me and my friends left it way too late to book for Le Mans this year, so we have ended up camping in Beausejour. Site doesn't seem all that bad, and the location seems pretty good.

For the last couple of years, I have stayed at Bleu Nord, so when I needed to go into town for more beer, it was simple. With Beausejour being inside of the circuit, how is access from there, or is there something else equivalent that I can access from the site?

Only 78 days until we leave, can't wait!

Zoom out a little in Google Maps. When you take the D92 towards Hunadières, you can get on the D338, take a left and drive straight into town with after a time the Carrefou on your right hand!

Otherwise, take a right on the D92, drive through under the circuit and head to Arnage. Super U supermarket at Centre Commercial Rive Sud - Boulevard Pierre Lefaucheux.

Also, at the crossroads of the D92/Hunadières, there is a shopping centre. There was no supermarket yet last year, but maybe there will be this year?

You can tram it, into town or I would recommend Super U at Arnage.

Not much local to BJ, though there is a little bar/fast food van on-site.

To get to civilisation and have a beer (so not driving) walk along the beef road (Chemin aux Boeufs) past Karting Nord/Houx to the tran station at Houx Annex roundabout. 30-45 minutes depending on walking speed/alcohol level/need for toilet.

Super u in Arnage has everything you need. Bars and restaurants in Arnage are walkable. There is a bar on the viewing area inside the porsche curves that is accessed from BSJ.

I know the site comes in for a lot of stick due to distance from the pits/village and stag parties but has got some things going for it. I know there has been a general improvement last few years on bogs and showers but if you arrive late as we normally do on friday morning you can generally take as much space as you want, shower when you want, sh*t when you want.

Be warned if your turning up to BSJ when they're running on track either go round to Arnage village and under the porsche curves to get inside the track, or there's a little road at the end of the big huge straight going into town, on the roundabout at Tetre Rouge corner. Under the track there and past Houx/HouxAnnex/Thevillage/KartingNord etc down to BSJ.

Maybe you know this, maybe you don't! Might help someone though smile
