If you don't need loads of torque you can get 1/2" square drive adapters to fit in a drill like this:

Yeah this will be perfect, I can always nip them by hand afterwards. I might see if I can try this method without an adapter and just an extension bar with the socket on the endhttp://www.toolspot.co.uk/product/3pc-1-4-hex-shan...
