Hi Chaps,

I'm sending a load of bits off to be shot blasted and powder coated for the Frogeye. Petrol tank, wheels, suspension bits, rear axle, and so on.

Shot blasting is being done on an hourly rate (£35), but the powder coating is charged per 2.5m 'rack'.

I've probably got a bit of room left over for any odd bits anybody wants to get done, pretty sure my stuff won't take up the whole space. Anything like suspension arms, springs, hinges, handles, will probably fit at no extra charge to me.

So, if anybody has any small parts they want coated (probably matt black), drop me a pm, I'll need them in Cheltenham in the next few days, planning on dropping this lot of later this week.

Turnaround is 3-5 days, so likely to be collecting at the later part of next week.

I'm in Montpelier, Cheltenham, here most days and evenings.

No charge - just pass it on when you get the chance.

Get it ready then!

Actually, I've realised there's no hurry with this, so any time is cool.

BUT, I was hoping to get them sent off before I go away (9th April), and collect when I get back, early May.

My old man is heading up this way next week, so might be able to bring it with him? Or I might be heading down to polish the boat next week, so can possibly drop by?

I can drop a box of bits round to your old man's place at the weekend, guess you don't want dirty Rover bits in the Lambo on Saturday (you still about?).

Yeah, drop it round, he'll be coming up at some point soon.

Guess no urgency on this? I've just realised I can get my Frogeye seats blasted and powder coated too, bonus!

It's gonna save hours on cleaning up the odd bits and painting them. All I'm left with on the parts bench is the dynamo and carbs, and that's not gonna take long to clean and polish.

Still on for Saturday, hoping to get down early enough to make the pub too. smile
