What should I apply polish (Autoglym SRP) with?

I have lint free cloths and microfiber towels for waxing and buffing. But to remove swirl marks, I assume I should be using SRP with some sort of firmish applicator pad?

You will be there for a while with SRP!

Microfibre applicator pad will do.

SRP only fills the swirls, it does not remove them.

Ah okay, so whats the best polish for removal of light swirls?

"Microfibre applicator pad" - arent they a bit squishy to be good at what is essentially very light sanding?

I don't know what they're like personally as I use a rotary polisher myself.
