What is it with the UK photography shops - nobody ships overseas and both billing and delivery address has to be the same?
The issue is we only have PO boxes here in the UAE for which i use my Companies one. I have a PO Box in the UK, which when goods are sent there is automatically forwarded to me here in the UAE, however, this is a different address to my billing address.
Am I missing something here - is photographic equipment classed as "offensive bomb weaponry" or a mechanism to pass on state secrets?
This is fecking frustrating as all I am looking for is to purchase a Marumi ring-flash FFS!
I have purchased many things from both the UK and USA. Had them either shipped directly to me or via my UK & USA PO Boxes, so whats different about photographic equipment?

I imagine the overseas thing is because the photographic equipment will be delicate and won't be insurable for international shipping (we have different rules for UK/international).
The deliver address being the same as your billing address is to try to stop fraud. When the card transaction is processed, they'll check the billing address against the records held with your bank and if correct, the dispatch to that address. You'll probably find these companies have been hit recently...wouldn't surprise me.

Yes, I did and they do not carry the ring flash I was looking for. Think they had a Sigma one but reviews were not the best for that.based on the comments/feedback/recommendations here - the Marumi is the best bang-for-buck but damn, they is 'ard to find.

My CC has the same addy as my billing addy - its just the delivery addy that's different.

The delivery to the card address rule is usually down to the card merchant vendor not the actual company. Have you asked asked if you could pay by bank transfer? There are less security worries with this method and the company may be happy to send the goods abroad.
Yes, I could try this as I still have a UK Bank Account. Will contact them again and see - thanks for the tip.Not worried about them sending it abroad - as I mentioned I do have a UK PO Box to which I have stuff sent, which is then forwarded to me here in UAE

Some credit card companies will allow you to register an additional address with them that will then check out when a seller queries it, allowing for delivery to an address other than the billing address. 
Have you tried www.bignorman.com ? They're based in Gibraltar and may be able to help with shipping. I ordered a Canon 600d from them for an extremely competitive price and found their customer service to be excellent.
