Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to change my standard factory odometer from displaying Miles and change to Kilometers ?
Not the speedo.... The odometer... smile

No idea.

Give the factory a call. They will be able to help you.

There should be an adjustable resistance called PotMeter in the unit which you can use to adjust it
its best to jack the car up and drive it tru the gears and the revs in the gear should correspond with the speed.

Like 1000 rpm in 5th or 6th gear check what the reading should be and adjust it accordingly if there is no potmeter incorporated you can buy one they are quite cheap

The Ultima speedo has a correction factor in it for both units of measurement and speed. Don't make it complicated call the factory and they will send you the instructions or tell you where to find them on the build disc. the adjustment for speed is done with the reset button you push and hold, the units blink, then you use the button to move the units up or down to correct the speed displayed. Thats kind of how it works but get the factory to help. Lee

Hi,
Thanks for the input guys.
I have calibrated the speedo as per instructions and it is reading fairly accurately.
That is not my problem.
The odometer has a digital read out in the middle of the speedo, that is reading in "Miles" travelled??
Not a big issue, I can ask the factory next time I'm on the phone, just thought someone here would have found the same thing smile

Surely if the speedo is reading in Km the mileometer will also be Km although it says miles!

Curious huh smile
The speedo just has two sets of numbers printed on it..
Same speed calibration, no matter if read in MPH or KPH, it's just where the needle points for both...
But the digital counter is recording as Miles travelled..

To check, I actually did a freeway run of a known distance in K's and it records in Miles...
If I keep my mouth shut, I will have a very low kilometer car when it comes time to sell huh smile
