TVRs in SE region: Mass summer BBQ in Hitchin - interested?

BBQ Event Open to All TVRs this Summer!

Hi folks

The Herts & Beds region of the TVRCC have been invited by the owner of Hitchin Football club to make full use of their facilities any time over summer that we want to hold a massive TVR gathering with a BBQ. (The owner is our local landlord and loves sports cars, especially TVRs ).

The Hitchin football club can easily accommodate between 200-300+ cars, so would have plenty of room for most people who wanted to come. The club also has full on site catering and toilets etc.

At the moment, I'm only seeing if there is enough interest in such an event to make it worth planning. I have had a good level of response from Herts, Beds and Middlesex regions and want to see if there is more interest from outside to make it an event to remember.

I don't have any dates or details planned yet and would probably have small charge to those attending the event to cover the catering costs, but it would be great if we could get maybe 150+ TVRs to come and make it a roaring success.

If this is something you think you - or your region - would be interested in, then please put your name down below and if I get enough interest, say 50 cars+, I will look into making this happen.

Hi, thanks for responses so far.

Dates for this event will need to be co-ordinated with FC owner and other ROs who have expressed an interest in attending. I'm going to work on firming this one up after Chatsworth - targeting either July or August time.
