I'm off to Anglesey next friday for a trackday on the saturday. I plan on stopping off at Demon Tweeks in Wrexham as it's on the way.

Never done North Wales before - looking for suggestions of roads I should do ? I'll have about 3 or 4 hours to make the trip which according to google is 1h48min, so plenty of scope to go the scenic route!

You could go:

A5 to just beyond Corwen, then onto the A494 to Bala

A4212 to Trawsfyndd then A4085 via Beddgelert and onto Caernafon.

Some nice roads round there, so take your time and enjoy!

I'd agree with ^ that, but from Wrexham why not include the Horseshoe Pass as well?

Where about in the Midlands are you starting from because there are some fantastic ways of getting to Wrexham?
