In all, 2,680 Subaru Justies (sp?) passed an MoT in 2007 according to VOSA figures. Let us know what year your Justy was registered, and I'll check how many from that year passed (and failed) their MoTs in 2007. Unfortunately the data isn't broken down into specific models
but we can maybe have a go at estimating survival rates
.
From what I've seen, the figures on howmanyleft may not be 100% accurate (being diplomatic)

I think the website only basis it's numbers on cars that are taxed.
Well, if you actually look at it you'll find it covers all cars. That's both taxed and SORNed.The official answer is 'its as accurate as the DVLA database is'.
It works on the make and model listed on the V5. For some models, that's not the most reliable source of identification (most notably classics and imports - most of the AdeTuono's garage).
If your V5 says Justy GLII, then you can probably be safe in the knowledge that you've the only car of that exact model in Britain that has the right make and model name on its V5. Someone else may well have one that's incorrectly registered (by dealer error, or importer error, or by cock-ups at the DVLA).

PS. aw51: DfT&VOSA have just released some much better MOT data up to Sept 2011 - definitely worth a look if you're into that kind of thing!

I got a Mk1 GS300 Sport sitting on my drive, and according to howmanyleft, there's only 12 left on the road (including the SORN ones), first I thought, what a load of b
ks, but then I can only find around 4 for sale, whiles there's literally hundreds of normal GS300's, so I think the site it quite accurate.

. As you say, most of my stuff is slightly unusual, but I know that there are probably a dozen or so 2006 Z06's in the country and they don't appear anywhere, and I'm fairly certain that mine is registered as a Z06.Apologies again. Have a virtual pint...

No worries

The DVLA do have an 'other model information' field on their computer that they can fill out for cars that don't have an official model number in the database, but they only seem to use it when whomever registers the car is very insistent. This means there's a small number of cars in circulation (which could well include your Z06) that do have a model name on their V5, but that model won't appear anywhere in official stats (ie. the tax/MOT databases and howmanyleft.co.uk).

Eh? There could be 1000 that aren't for sale
