Right the tigers ready for some new tyres.
Its currently on Toyo T1-R's, should I just purchase the same again or has anyone got any experience of them and another tyre and recommends a change.
I'm also thinking of doing a few track days but not enough to justify the outlay for semi-slicks unless theres some that are reasonable.
Thanks in advance!

well tyres are always a subject of 'each to their own'.....for me tr1's are ok but pretty basic grip wise. can't argue the value - a set for about £200, but personally i prefer something between that style of tyre and a track oriented bit of rubber.
in the past i've used the Toyo R1R and really rate it, last year when i needed to renew io couldnt get any due to huge supply chain issues, so went for the Yoko ad08 which looked to have a similar amount of tread/grip....err no they didnt. They were good but not quite as good on my tiger. Yesterday had teh same issues, wanted R1R managed to find them but the prices were a tad high in comparison to normal as the main dealers liek Camskill just dont have stock.
so this time went for teh Federal 595 rs-r. just had them fitted today so no idea what they'll be like. They have had good press on other forums so we'll see.
the R1R's and the Yoko's gave me about 10k miles each set which i think is pretty good considering. Only 1-2 td's on each set so really road work.
