Front brake bolt size's required
Discussion
Everything is going back together well, just a shame that its still in pieces with all this nice weather! At some point though I have "placed in a safe place" the bolts that join the front brake caliper mount's to the hub. I know that they should be high tensile but not sure on the size. Anyone know these as I couldn't see them on the bolt list and couldn't find any useful info using the search. Would Ford still stock these for the Sierra off the shelf?
Many thanks.
Many thanks.
M10 and at least 10.9 tensile strength, length about 30mm I think but you can work that out with a bit of measuring.
You may be lucky and find them still available at a Main Dealer but Sierra's are long gone now, same bolt/part no. may have carried on to more recent cars?
Any proper nut 'n bolt supplier (not Screwfix, B&Q etc) should have 'em
Don't forget the Loctite !
