Hi I'm new to the forum, my friend has just bought an jaguar xf 2.7 premium luxury in black. The car is in fairly decent condition. On close inspection I noticed patches of rust form on the boot just above the chrome strip. Is there any recall for this premature rusting and how do I go about it with the dealer. Any advice would be much appreciated.

The XF has a 6 year anti-corrosion warranty, so "your friend" should make an appointment with his local dealer for evaluation and repair.
