Morning all,

Dumb question - Is there any easy way I can find out the BHP?

It seems there is a 134 & a 147 BHP version of it, but I can't work out which.

I know, I know dumb question hehe

ETA: I'm asking since I'm debating adding a chip to get a bit more welly from it - anyone here had any experiences with doing that to a Rav?

Check the V5 for the engine capacity.

There was a 2.2 litre and a 2.4 litre so logic would have it that the 2.4 has the higher power.

It's a 2.2 and sadly the 2.2's are listed as having either BHP wobble

I'll give that a try, I even double checked the insurance quote thingy and it only gives engine capacity frown

Like I say, ridiculous position, but I wasn't fussy for BHP when I bought her, but since I'm weighing up a chip for the engine, I really ought to know the starting BHP hehe

Aaaah looks like maybe the higher rated one came to market in 2009-2010.

That would suggest it's the lower value smile

Same with the Clio 1.5dci - 3 engine bhp options - no obvious difference
