I need to replace the rears on my 996 C4S (295/30 ZR18 N3 Pirelli P Zero Asimmentrico on at the moment front and back) but am having trouble finding these. I have tried Black Circles etc but they are not even listing Pirelli in this size.

Also, do you think it would be wise to swap to P Zero Neros? I know they have a shorter life span but I do not drive THAT hard as to burn through them very quickly. The fronts have good life in them yet so probably should not mix front and rears.

Thanks

You can't get those P Zero's any more, however sometimes you see a set on ebay.

Most move to Michelin Pilot Sport 2, change all 4 and sell the two up front.

Ok - thanks for this.

They are expensive aren't they. I remember i used to pay £250 per corner for the P Zeros on my previous 911 3 years ago.

Continentals? Have those all round in mine - they seem to grip OK, wet or dry. Much cheaper than Michelin I think.

yes

I've been a big fan of ContiSport Contacts sincer they transformed my BMW a few years ago. Always have them on my 996t.

Just put my Turbo on Michelin PS2s - Much better ride and handling IMO and I'm also looking forward to improved tyre wear
