Can anyone help
When I start the car and the petrol is down to below half a tank the petrol gauge starts to play up, first it shows zero then it will show 300lts [lucky me] then settles down to where it should be.this will take about a minute.
I have just bought a new unit to see if thats the fault but.

I have just removed all the bolts from around the petrol pump looking for the sender unit in my Tamora, but I cant see it I have had my hand in there also to feel for it, is it in there or some where else any thanks

I had exactly the same problem with my car, and indeed a new sender did cure everything. The old sender is a bit akward to find; you have to reach into the tank hole, then curl your wrist round to the left (standing behind the car). Once you feel where it is, you need to squeeze it (to release the retaining clip- see your new one for what this looks like) then lift it vertically out of its slot to release it.

Once you've fone that, you'll find that the real fun is in putting the new one back in!
