Hi, I've seen a few topics on here about replacing the wood veneer dash with other materials, and I was considering a carbon fibre wrap;

http://www.carbonfibrevinylwrap.co.uk/buy-3m-carbo...

has anyone got an experience of these sorts of wraps? I'm considering wrapping my existing dash (once I've removed the cracked veneer) and then having a new veneered dash as a spare if I decide to change or sell in the future.

Any thoughts on this? Is this carbon fibre wrap the correct stuff to use, or is there something more appropriate?

I've been considering carbon as well. My veneer has seen better days and anyway I'd like to match the roof panel. Rather than wrap I'm tempted by the offer on RV8R - heres the link http://www.rv8r.co.uk/ A better result I recon.

I've just done mine with 3M carbon wrap, I think it looks excellent,
Then new dash bulbs,

job done
I would say just take your time, label all the wires and have a sharp craft knife.

Check my profile pic.

My vinyl was about £7 from eBay.

Watch it though you'll get the wooden steering wheel vomit squad disapproving.
