I was driving past a foreign lorry sitting at the side of the road delivering to local store today. The cab was hard over to one side and they had doors on the front of the trailer open taking the goods out.

Anyone heard of this or seen it on a UK trailer?

Was it a container?
Dummy might have had it on the wrong way round

Nope, it had back doors too. It looked like the load was at the front so that was the easier door to open.

Seen them used for delivering rolls of carpet and textiles, enables forklifts with booms to load/unload from either end.

Seen one like that in Inverness this week. Can't remember if it was unloading carpet or not but it was foreign plated.
Looks awkward to unload as the unit was jack-knifed to open the doors.

Not a hope in hell id be loading/unloading like that, the trailer would be dropped, The potential for damage to the unit is far too high, jeez I get paranoid when forklift drivers are loading the front of the trailer from the sides.

Can't remember where I seen it or what it was carrying. Just remember thinking that looks odd.
