Congrats on the new lens! Always good to have a properly fast lens in your bag to compliment the zooms!

It was suggested on my camera course that it'd be a useful lens to have, and it was only £100.

Really pleased with it, tried it out in the dark last night. This was hand held (forgot the tripod, like a doofus!)

Indeed. Almost makes me look like I know what I'm doing doesn't it?

Incidentally, it's got a manual aperture adjustment on the lens, but I adjust it via the camera. Presumably then I just leave that on 22? Or doesn't it matter?

"Lock" it on f/22; otherwise you'll probably get "FEE" showing on the display.
