I have a few scratches on my GT3, which I would be keen to get polished out. I have heard of some services providing a proper wet polish service, at different levels, ie Bronze or Platinum etx.
Can anyone reccomended one?

Question slightly off topic: pigeon poop...what product do you guys use to remove stains.

We got some pretty bad stains last wk: parked the 300SL (thk god not the RS) under a tree which was a very bad idea, came back a couple days later and terrible sight. Took the car to get washed but too late: it seems to have attacked the paint frown

Any product/polish recommendation?

Kds keltec in kent. Speak to Kelly.

Or

Supercar detailing in kent. Speak to Rob.

Either will bring your car back to new or even better.

KDS is widely recognised as one of, if not the best in the business. He is hosting an open day on 1 April, so worth popping along to see.

Another vote for Kelly - they have a paint shop now, so will definitely be able to sort it out. Kelly's a perfectionist, so his work is second to none.

I can recommend the services of Perfection Detailing - http://www.perfectiondetailing.co.uk/ and @perfectionvalet on Twitter. I got them to do my Boxster when I bought it, and the work was exceptional.

Has anyone used G-Techniq in Kings Langley? I have heard good things about them, and their polish and lacquer is supposed to last much longer than regular wax. I am interested to hear if anyone on here has experiences before deciding whether to go for it after I get my front bumper resprayed.

Gtechniq are getting out of then detailing service business and concentrating simply on products - they have their own section on the Detailing World forum if you want any more info.

Just be carefull.

It,s ok for these guys to wet sand a scratch out, and the car will look great.

But it,s a 1 time thing.

People and detainers are all to keen to look cool with a paint gauge and polish the scratch out noting now many micros they have taken off.

When IMO they should be filling a scratch with lacquer and flattening that.

I think this market has gone a bit mental, or is that the people willing to pay £1k are mental and the detailers are the clever ones.
