okay 2nd time lucky...

So today I had to work in a different office which I had never been to so I wasn't familiar with the parking arrangements.

I ended up parking in a cul de sac a few minutes walk away. There were hardly any other cars parked on the street and most were parked in the spacious driveways of the large houses so its not like I was depriving anyone of a space..

However when I came back to my car I noticed something on the windscreen. Turns out someone had put a sticker on my windscreen which read 'NO PARKING - RESIDENTS ONLY!!!'. This had completely stuck to the glass and took several minutes to scrape off.

Obviously someone living in that street has taken the time to make their own stickers to put on the evil cars that legally park there. I just don't understand how someone could get ao angry about something so insignificant...?

I don't fancy having a windscreen full of stickers, although it is tempting!

Who has time during the day to glue a piece of paper to a car parked legally on a public road?

Stick your own message to every car on the street next time you park there - "SORRY GUYS, WORK CAR PARK FULL!". When every car owner on the street is scraping that st off their windscreen they will have a few choice words for the curtain-twitching local parking warden.

The irony is using the glue means the OP will be parked there for longer to peel it off.

This!! A friend of mine has been having trouble recently when he drops off and picks his daughter up from school. Very limited parking outside the school and no parking on the school grounds but they live too far away to walk.
This couple keep waiting until someone parks outside their house then park their cars either side blocking cars in and then trying to intimidate these people.

Put a notice inside the windscreen 'CCTV is watching you'. Helps if the maker of your chariot has put a blinking LED somewhere.

I'd be back there knocking on doors to find out who wanted to clean their litter up

Spacious driveways/Large houses? Are you absolutely sure it wasn't a private road?
