I'm not keen on the looks, but I love it that a bloke with white hair and his colleague in a baseball hat and oily fingers created it.

Great review of this "Batst mental Lotus". Love it. Hat's off to Frank for creating it and doing it all himself.

Only saw the thread title and had a feeling it'd be that.

Absolutely excellent, that biggrin I love everything about it - from the obvious attention to detail, the obsessiveness about having to make it perfect, to the massive knowledge the guys clearly have and the correct pronounciation of Lancia hehe

Ronin seems to be a bit of a love him or hate him character. In various posts he has written over on Teamspeed.com he loves to boast that he is the fastest cat out there and is constantly trying to wind up people to prove him wrong. His car is very quick and is a credit to him but maybe if he toned down the rhetoric a little he would get a hell of a less hate chat.

He also seems to have an ongoing feud with Hennessey over his Venom Lotus and has challenged him on a number of occasions to meet him in the canyons to duke it out.

The only thing stopping me telling him that his car is amazing is that he keeps telling me that his car is amazing.

How did they shoehorn him in that? Bang goes that impressive power-to-weight ratio!

yes The last thing he needs is his ego massaging to even greater dimensions.

Banned from PistonHeads once (he used to be 'roninexige'), he's only back here - in contravention of the rules - by signing up a duplicate account. He's only interest is in bigging himself up, preferably by putting others down - I think he's set up his own forum (monkeyspanker.com or something similar) so he can do so without fear of people holding alternative opinions to his own.

If you want to be charitable, you'd say he's a bit of a character, though you could substitute another word beginning with 'C' and it would be equally accurate. biggrin

Don't mention the Hennessey Venom...

Oh dear. Shame to hear that. If only people would let their work do the talking instead.
