Serious Loss of Power, Torque Limiter Maybe?

Hi all,

This morning my car suddently lost a serious amount of power in all gears

I also noticed the revs stop at 4250rpm (which they usually do at idle, but not in gear) instead of the usual 5k. I can still here a slight turbo whistle so have ruled the turbo out, could this be related to my problem yesterday(http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&f=66&t=1130960&mid=182246&nmt=Set+off+a+little+too+quickly+from+the+lights)? Maybe limited torque or soemthing? There are no error lights come up on the dash.

I think it may be related, but if anyone could share their thoughts it would be very helpful

For a start, stop trying to rev it to the redline to see what the problem is.

Get it to a garage, before you do more damage.
