Hi,
Does anyone know where I can get rear brake calipers for a 95 Chimaera for a reasonable price? Are they TVR parts, or are they taken from another car as many other parts are?
Thanks
While your at it why not upgrade to the later Chimaera rear vented discs and larger calipers ,will work out about the same to upgrade .You will have to change the hub but i managed to get the pair from a Cosworth breakers for £40Does anyone know where I can get rear brake calipers for a 95 Chimaera for a reasonable price? Early rears have solid discs so the later vented discs are better ,sold mine to a TVR S owner ,got decent money for them because they are classed as a S brake upgrade.(with the hubs)
The combination of the front 887 888 `s with eather 278`s or 283`s with the later rear setup work very well, infact for the money there a briliant upgrade..Don`t think you will need anything better for the road .
Very well balanced and did not let me down on the track..
There are far better setups on the market but will cost alot more ..
