Todays SOTW got me thinking about this.
What other say sub £5k fun 2+2's are there?

Alfa gtv and audi tt are the only two that spring to mind.

Suggestions please smile

RX8 is cheap for a reason. But I guess that's OK if you don't do much mileage and are prepared to walk away from the car if it dies.

TT a 2+2?

From my experience for a TT to be 2+2 either you or your rear passengers need to be midgets. No legroom whatsoever for my kids (5 & 3 at the time) behind me and I'm only 5'10".

Celica is a better 2+2, though arguably nowhere near as much fun.

RX8 is best, or just get a BMW 330 Coupe.

A Celica can't be any more dull than a TT unless the radio only plays The Archers.

The modern definition of a 2+2 is a two seater that has two pretend seats in the back to hold coats, bags and other things that are not people.

Well it might break the budget but and old 911 will give you more smiles per mile than all of the previous mentions, and it is a proper 2+2. I used to do family of 4 weekends away while the little 'uns were sub 10.

I agree with the RX8 really, bargains!
But if you wanted something different, & were prepared to get something a bit older i have a few ideas;
Supra, 200sx, E36 M3 (I know thats not really a 2+2!), Or if it was my cash, i'd be looking at an RX7 smile

350z sneaks in, much rather have one than a TT! Integra DC2 would fit the fun part too if that counts as a 2+2.

Celica t-sport. Definitely not dull bar the stability control nannying about.

Some good suggestions.
Is the 350z a 2+2 though? Thought it was only a 2 seater.

2 seater. there would be one on my drive otherwise.

The Infiniti G35 is a 350Z as a 2+2 but rare as Hen's teeth over here and not cheap still.

Any idea of running cost for the xk8?
Did they ever do a manual version?
