I came home from a trip down to Northampton today and in the distance on the A41 spotted something unusual it was about 4 cars and a wagon ahead so had to get past them and see what it was,
probably the only view I will see of one, on the road wink

i saw the same car a few weeks ago on the same road....

he must be a wealthy Chester boy?

i must admit i dont think it had as much presence as the Ultima, im sure they are great cars but a little dull i suppose like a R8, all imo of course

I was sat in a macca at the London showroom the other day, better that an R8 by a country mile, though I do know what you mean.
The fit and finish are really good (should be @ the price).

I agree with Kyle, the MP4 lacks the road presence and visual drama befiting a car of it's price & performance.

I don't know how many have been handed over to customers, but given how many of them are wondering around my neck of the woods, I'd say the R8 is a rarer car these days!

I think they're incredibly colour sensitive. That orange makes them look like an 80's concept car, other colours make them look much more up to date.

It's the supercar equivalent of an R35 GTR isn't it, it'll destroy anything in it's way.

Talking of 80's retro... Highflyer, Is that a string back driving glove I can spot in the corner of one of the photos???
Please tell me it's a tan leather one with a press stud fastener ;-)

i dont like the MP4's , they look boring. A supercar should have the wow factor and in looks this car doesnt...Such a shame especially after the F1.... but I hear the waiting lists are next to nothing now as they arent selling so if you want one, they have a few in stock...

There is talk of bodywork changes soon, so never know.

Good spot Russ, you dont see many of them even in the club im in!!

Either that or it's the monkey puppet from the old TV ad with Johnny Vegas!

Filled up my old diesel galaxy next to a 61 plate black one the other day and it did not have much in the way of wow factor in the flesh.

I could easily keep up with one around Silverstone in my Radical. It pissed him off so much that he nearly crashed it twice trying to stay in front of me. However I like them because they are not too loud looking if you know what I mean.
