broken throttle spring in Flanders
Discussion
just arrived in belgium for the weekend and on the way over the accellerator got really light. was not far from hotel and got to car park alright. normally the revs go up and down equally as fast but now the revs fall off really slowly. sometimes staying up and had to sort of stall the car in a high gear to get it to idle.. which is not as it used to be. around 1100rpm instead of around 950.
the safety spring is still attached to the air box mount. but one of the springs on the butterfy rod is defenietly broken.
any suggestios as to what sort of spring ocould be used to double up with the safety spring until i get home?
